Tune in to Season 2 of the popular series All That Jazz Story & Music Time!
Hosted by the Au Sable Forks Free Library and produced by Matt Snyder, the program is funded by the Decentralization Program of the New York State Council on the Arts*.
Mr. Snyder, the music teacher at Au Sable Forks Elementary School, teaches general music, band, and chorus. He is also co-advisor of the Au Sable Valley Drama Club Program.
“We are fortunate to have Matt Snyder continuing this popular and successful program. Last summer, COVID took out our children’s live story time program. With Matt’s artistic and technical expertise, we were able to launch it ‘virtually.’ It is a pleasant surprise to have reached a much larger audience because we were pushed into this format,” said Library Director, Alison Follos.
All That Jazz Story Time is presented weekly on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m. during the summer. During the school year, the program will air twice a month. The 30-minute program blends story, music, puppetry and features local community members and authors.
“After the overwhelming success of Season 1 I am excited to spend more time exploring our local community through story, song, and puppetry. All That Jazz has gained a large following and has been featured among classrooms, home schools, early childhood education training programs, and more. Last season we reached 10 countries across 4 continents,” Snyder said.
